Origins
Neighbor to Neighbor was started by a group of “concerned individuals” in 1975. The organization has continually grown, currently offering a regularly stocked- client choice food bank, and a clothing bank.
Mission
To provide food and clothing to people in need in the Greenwich, Stamford and Port Chester areas. Although one would not think so, Greenwich does have a poverty rate of 7.89%, falling slightly ahead of the CT rate as a whole. This is a mostly unknown and largely overlooked figure, which is why the direct help provided by this organization is so important.
Personal Connection
Boris Ardemasov has done extensive service at this organization, something that has led us to choosing to donate the profits to their cause. We truly believe in their programs, and do not know of any other charity that provides more direct and local help around the Greenwich area.
